Tarama – A Refined Taste of the Mediterranean Sea

Tarama is a delicate specialty made from smoked fish roe, slowly whipped with oil, lemon juice, and bread crumbs or potatoes, until it becomes light, airy, and silky. Of both Greek and Turkish origin, this elegant mezze has long been served during festive meals and special occasions.

At Derya, we offer a creamy, subtly briny Tarama, perfectly balanced and ideal with pita bread or fresh vegetables. Each bite evokes the freshness of the sea and the refined culinary traditions of the Mediterranean region.

An exceptional mezze — simple yet noble — that begins the meal with elegance.
